The Maine Dental Association has Incorporated in 1867, the Maine Dental Association (MDA) is a professional membership organization of licensed dentists whose object is “to provide representation, information and other services for the dentist members and, through the dentist members, promote the health and welfare of the people of the State of Maine.”
The MDA is a constituent society of the American Dental Association (ADA), headquartered in Chicago, and is composed of ten local component societies. The ADA and MDA offer reduced dues for certain categories of dentists, including recent graduates, retired dentists and Life members.
